Import detail#
from ansys.dpf.core.operators.utility.merge_meshes import InputsMergeMeshes
Property detail#
- property InputsMergeMeshes.naive_merge_elements: ansys.dpf.core.inputs.Input[bool]#
Allows to connect naive_merge_elements input to the operator.
If true, merge the elemental Property Fields of the input meshes assuming that there is no repetition in their scoping ids. Default is false.
- Returns:
An Input instance for this pin.
- Return type:
input
Examples
>>> from ansys.dpf import core as dpf >>> op = dpf.operators.utility.merge_meshes() >>> op.inputs.naive_merge_elements.connect(my_naive_merge_elements) >>> # or >>> op.inputs.naive_merge_elements(my_naive_merge_elements)
- property InputsMergeMeshes.should_merge_named_selections: ansys.dpf.core.inputs.Input[bool]#
Allows to connect should_merge_named_selections input to the operator.
For certain types of files (such as RST), scoping from names selection does not need to be merged.If this pin is true, the merge occurs. If this pin is false, the merge does not occur. Default is true.
- Returns:
An Input instance for this pin.
- Return type:
input
Examples
>>> from ansys.dpf import core as dpf >>> op = dpf.operators.utility.merge_meshes() >>> op.inputs.should_merge_named_selections.connect(my_should_merge_named_selections) >>> # or >>> op.inputs.should_merge_named_selections(my_should_merge_named_selections)
- property InputsMergeMeshes.meshes1: ansys.dpf.core.inputs.Input[ansys.dpf.core.meshed_region.MeshedRegion | ansys.dpf.core.meshes_container.MeshesContainer]#
Allows to connect meshes1 input to the operator.
A vector of meshed region to merge or meshed region from pin 0 to …
- Returns:
An Input instance for this pin.
- Return type:
input
Examples
>>> from ansys.dpf import core as dpf >>> op = dpf.operators.utility.merge_meshes() >>> op.inputs.meshes1.connect(my_meshes1) >>> # or >>> op.inputs.meshes1(my_meshes1)

Allows to connect meshes2 input to the operator.
A vector of meshed region to merge or meshed region from pin 0 to …
- Returns:
An Input instance for this pin.
- Return type:

Method detail#
- InputsMergeMeshes.__str__()#
- InputsMergeMeshes.connect(inpt)#
Connect any input (an entity or an operator output) to any input pin of this operator.
Searches for the input type corresponding to the output.
Deprecated since version Deprecated: in favor of explicit output-to-input connections.
- InputsMergeMeshes.__call__(inpt)#
