InputsCyclicMeshExpansion#

class ansys.dpf.core.operators.metadata.cyclic_mesh_expansion.InputsCyclicMeshExpansion(op: ansys.dpf.core.dpf_operator.Operator)#

Bases: ansys.dpf.core.inputs._Inputs

Intermediate class used to connect user inputs to cyclic_mesh_expansion operator.

Examples

>>> from ansys.dpf import core as dpf
>>> op = dpf.operators.metadata.cyclic_mesh_expansion()
>>> my_sector_meshed_region = dpf.MeshedRegion()
>>> op.inputs.sector_meshed_region.connect(my_sector_meshed_region)
>>> my_cyclic_support = dpf.CyclicSupport()
>>> op.inputs.cyclic_support.connect(my_cyclic_support)
>>> my_sectors_to_expand = dpf.Scoping()
>>> op.inputs.sectors_to_expand.connect(my_sectors_to_expand)

Overview#

connect

Connect any input (an entity or an operator output) to any input pin of this operator.

sector_meshed_region

Allows to connect sector_meshed_region input to the operator.

cyclic_support

Allows to connect cyclic_support input to the operator.

sectors_to_expand

Allows to connect sectors_to_expand input to the operator.

Import detail#

from ansys.dpf.core.operators.metadata.cyclic_mesh_expansion import InputsCyclicMeshExpansion

Property detail#

property InputsCyclicMeshExpansion.sector_meshed_region: ansys.dpf.core.inputs.Input[ansys.dpf.core.meshed_region.MeshedRegion | ansys.dpf.core.meshes_container.MeshesContainer]#

Allows to connect sector_meshed_region input to the operator.

Returns:

An Input instance for this pin.

Return type:

input

Examples

>>> from ansys.dpf import core as dpf
>>> op = dpf.operators.metadata.cyclic_mesh_expansion()
>>> op.inputs.sector_meshed_region.connect(my_sector_meshed_region)
>>> # or
>>> op.inputs.sector_meshed_region(my_sector_meshed_region)
property InputsCyclicMeshExpansion.cyclic_support: ansys.dpf.core.inputs.Input[ansys.dpf.core.cyclic_support.CyclicSupport]#

Allows to connect cyclic_support input to the operator.

Returns:

An Input instance for this pin.

Return type:

input

Examples

>>> from ansys.dpf import core as dpf
>>> op = dpf.operators.metadata.cyclic_mesh_expansion()
>>> op.inputs.cyclic_support.connect(my_cyclic_support)
>>> # or
>>> op.inputs.cyclic_support(my_cyclic_support)
property InputsCyclicMeshExpansion.sectors_to_expand: ansys.dpf.core.inputs.Input[ansys.dpf.core.scoping.Scoping | ansys.dpf.core.scopings_container.ScopingsContainer]#

Allows to connect sectors_to_expand input to the operator.

sectors to expand (start at 0), for multistage: use scopings container with ‘stage’ label.

Returns:

An Input instance for this pin.

Return type:

input

Examples

>>> from ansys.dpf import core as dpf
>>> op = dpf.operators.metadata.cyclic_mesh_expansion()
>>> op.inputs.sectors_to_expand.connect(my_sectors_to_expand)
>>> # or
>>> op.inputs.sectors_to_expand(my_sectors_to_expand)

Method detail#

InputsCyclicMeshExpansion.__str__()#
InputsCyclicMeshExpansion.connect(inpt)#

Connect any input (an entity or an operator output) to any input pin of this operator.

Searches for the input type corresponding to the output.

Deprecated since version Deprecated: in favor of explicit output-to-input connections.

InputsCyclicMeshExpansion.__call__(inpt)#
