InputsChangeCs#

class ansys.dpf.core.operators.mesh.change_cs.InputsChangeCs(op: ansys.dpf.core.dpf_operator.Operator)#

Bases: ansys.dpf.core.inputs._Inputs

Intermediate class used to connect user inputs to change_cs operator.

Examples

>>> from ansys.dpf import core as dpf
>>> op = dpf.operators.mesh.change_cs()
>>> my_meshes = dpf.MeshedRegion()
>>> op.inputs.meshes.connect(my_meshes)
>>> my_coordinate_system = dpf.Field()
>>> op.inputs.coordinate_system.connect(my_coordinate_system)

Overview#

connect

Connect any input (an entity or an operator output) to any input pin of this operator.

meshes

Allows to connect meshes input to the operator.

coordinate_system

Allows to connect coordinate_system input to the operator.

Import detail#

from ansys.dpf.core.operators.mesh.change_cs import InputsChangeCs

Property detail#

property InputsChangeCs.meshes: ansys.dpf.core.inputs.Input[ansys.dpf.core.meshed_region.MeshedRegion | ansys.dpf.core.meshes_container.MeshesContainer]#

Allows to connect meshes input to the operator.

Returns:

An Input instance for this pin.

Return type:

input

Examples

>>> from ansys.dpf import core as dpf
>>> op = dpf.operators.mesh.change_cs()
>>> op.inputs.meshes.connect(my_meshes)
>>> # or
>>> op.inputs.meshes(my_meshes)
property InputsChangeCs.coordinate_system: ansys.dpf.core.inputs.Input[ansys.dpf.core.field.Field]#

Allows to connect coordinate_system input to the operator.

3-3 rotation matrix + 3 translations (X, Y, Z)

Returns:

An Input instance for this pin.

Return type:

input

Examples

>>> from ansys.dpf import core as dpf
>>> op = dpf.operators.mesh.change_cs()
>>> op.inputs.coordinate_system.connect(my_coordinate_system)
>>> # or
>>> op.inputs.coordinate_system(my_coordinate_system)

Method detail#

InputsChangeCs.__str__()#
InputsChangeCs.connect(inpt)#

Connect any input (an entity or an operator output) to any input pin of this operator.

Searches for the input type corresponding to the output.

Deprecated since version Deprecated: in favor of explicit output-to-input connections.

InputsChangeCs.__call__(inpt)#
InputsChangeCs.__getitem__(item) → Input#
